Mood Boards

So, I am doing something new. Seeking inspiration through my clients eyes.

Trinity, pictured above picked really dramatic lighting, which I happen to love. I would say maybe even a bit Film Noir style of lighting for some of her mood board selections.

What is a mood board?

A mood board is a collection of inspiration images. I asked Trinity to create a board of images that spoke to her. The imagery could be selected based on poses, shadows, mood, light, outfits, environment, basically anything to spoke to her.

Mood boards are easily created on Pintrest, great for sharing with myself, hair, makeup, stylist or whomever you think it might pertain to. This does not mean that you have to only select mages from Pintrest. You could find magazine inspiration, IG inspiration, and the list goes on and on. You could just snap a shot from a page of a magazine, or screen shot from IG and attach to your Pintrest mood board.

The image above is inspired my all time favorite images of Kate Moss created by Mario Sorrenti for Harpers. I happen to think Trinity looks like Kate Moss as well. I tried to re-create Mario Sorrenti’s image of Kate Moss with Trinity, and do love the outcome. I think she looks amazing.

Anyhow, thank you so much Trinity for playing along. I really enjoyed the shots we got and am looking forward to our outdoor off camera senior shoot tomorrow. You are a very special young woman and your parents have done an exceptional job raising you. You are a true beauty inside and out. (black heart emoji)
