Sierra Hauschild Indie Actress and Screenwriter

Thank you so much Sierra Hauschild for choosing me to take your updated actress headshots. Can’t wait to get you into the studio again, I am currently putting together an artistic photography editorial about U.S. exports of used clothing creating a waste nightmare for West Africa. Not to mention, after reading your bio I am interested to learn more about you and hopefully collaborate in the future.

Born in the agricultural city of Salinas, California, Sierra spent her childhood daydreaming about leaving behind her small town and embarking on adventures. As a teenager, she traveled to Italy and became a student ambassador in Japan, fueling her love of languages and culture. After spending two years living off-grid in the woods, she escaped homelessness at the age of 18 to pursue acting in the city of San Francisco. There, she studied The Meisner Technique at the Academy of Art University and found a new lease on life through the outlet of screen acting and screenwriting. Most recently, Sierra has won the award for Best Feature Screenplay at the Austin Spotlight Film Festival in 2020 for her first feature-length screenplay, How it Left, which is based on her life following the mysterious death of her father.
