A Great Artist Has Passed - Armando Mejorado
Our hearts are saddened by the news of Armando’s recent passing. We did not know him well, but what we did know of him we really liked. He was always in our community sharing his love for art and sharing his gifts with us. Redding has lost a great teacher and we feel very lucky to have gotten to know and be taught by Armando.
Below are a few portraits of guests who participated in the VOGUE Strike a Pose (Redding Fashion Week) Launch Party in 2018, and it really was a fun night. Again, another one of those things that Armando did for our community.
Armando was an inspiration, hard-working, dedicated, open-minded, and so welcoming to ALL. His absence is felt by this town and all who had the pleasure to encounter him. We should all take a page from his book of life.
Thank you, Armando!
